Christopher Rodriguez

GySgt Rodriguez was born on 18 August 1987 in Downey, CA. On 13 November 2006, GySgt Rodriguez enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and on 27 November 2005 attended Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA. On 14 February 2007, Private First (PFC) Class Rodriguez graduated from Recruit Training and reported to the School of Infantry, Camp Pendleton, CA where he attended Marine Combat Training (MCT). Following graduation from MCT, PFC Rodriguez reported to Marine Corps Artillery school aboard Fort Sill, OK and attended the Field Artillery School where, upon graduation, he attained the occupational specialty of 0811, Cannoneer. In June 2007 PFC Rodriguez received orders to Fox Battery 2ndBattalion 11th Marines, Camp Pendleton CA. LCpl Rodriguez was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During this time, he was Combat meritoriously promoted to the rank of Corporal and served as a lead vehicle Gunner during the deployment. Cpl Rodriguez deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and served as the NCO in charge of Civil affairs team Now Zad 2011. In March 2011, Sergeant Rodriguez reported to Recruiters School, and received order to RSS Honolulu, PCS Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. In April 2014, Sergeant Rodriguez received order to 5th Battalion 11th Marines Quebec Battery. Sergeant Rodriguez was selected to go on DPAA mission to recover human remains of service members from the Vietnam War. In March 0f 2016, Staff Sergeant Rodriguez deployed with Romero Battery on the first inaugural UDP to Okinawa Japan. In April 2017, Staff Sergeant Rodriguez received orders to MCAGCC to be the Inspector Chief for the Command Inspector General. In December 2019, Staff Sergeant Rodriguez received orders to 3rd Battalion 11th Marines Kilo Battery and deployed to Marine Rotational Forces Darwin. In March 2021, GySgt Rodriguez received orders to RS San Diego RSS National City. In March 2023 GySgt Rodriguez received orders to 5th Battalion 11th Marines.
