Professional Bio
Enlisted in AUG79 and did basic and AIT at FT Sill. My initial battery was with the M114 towed 155mm howitzer in Woodsville, NH. Enrolled in the NH Military Academy for OCS in 1980 and graduated a 2LT in 1981. Went to OBC that year and graduated in 1982. After graduation we transitioned to CO and I joined a M110 203mm SP unit in Colorado Springs, CO. In the COARNG I served as an FDO, XO, Battery Commander, S-1, and BN XO. I also did 6-years as an AGR. We transitioned to Longview, TX, in 1993 and I was picked up by the TXARNG in Austin, TX, with STARC in the garrison facilities group and branched in the COE. I was promoted to LTC in the late 90s. I was hired by Glacier National Park in 2003 as the Park Engineer and we transitioned to Columbia Falls, MT, where we currently reside.
I could not find a position in the MTARNG and retired in 2004 with 25-years. I am retiring from the National Park Service at the end of 2024 with 22 years of service, serving as the Chief of Facility Management for the last 16-years. My wife and I truly looking forward to retirement together and new adventures.
