Professional Bio
A native of Lee County, South Carolina, CPT Moore attained his Bachelor of Arts in History – cum laude and a minor in Fine Art from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in 2014. Upon graduation, CPT Moore commissioned as a Second Lieutenant branched Field Artillery. His first duty assignment was in the Republic of Korea as a Fire Support Officer assigned to 1st Battalion 15th Field Artillery Regiment from 2014 through 2015. Upon reassignment, CPT Moore moved to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and was assigned to 1-320th Field Artillery Regiment. CPT Moore held several leadership positions from Headquarters Platoon Leader to Company Fire Support Officer during his two-year tenure at Fort Campbell. CPT Moore deployed in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE assigned to Destroyer Company, 1-26th Infantry as a Fire Support Officer in 2016. CPT Moore’s most recent operational assignment was at Camp Casey, Republic of Korea assigned to 210th Field Artillery Brigade from 2017 - 2018. CPT Moore served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer for 6th Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment.
Upon arrival to JBLM in June 2019, CPT Moore served as the Current Operations Officer for the 17th FA BDE then reassigned to 1-94 FAR as the Fire Direction Officer. CPT Moore is a graduate of the Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader’s Course, Joint Fires Observer Course and Field Artillery Captains Career Course at Fort Sill, OK. CPT Moore completed the USMC ANGLICO Basic Course at JBLM in 2019. CPT Moore’s military awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, National Defense Service Ribbon, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal and the Air Assault Badge.
